Situated at the top end of town near the train station, Chambre 9 is one of the favourite meeting places for locals and visitors alike.

You'll find tourists, alpinists, “extreme skiers” and plenty of Scandinavians meeting to talk about their days at altitude.

During the day why not make it a habit to come and take morning coffee, read the paper and listen in on the goings-on of local life at the bar? Should you be around at lunchtime you'll find Chambre 9 mainly offers classic international cooking. Try the special of the day inspired from Sweden, France or Asia or their famous homemade burgers.

Open every day from 3pm till 11:30pm. For an aperitif, a cocktail or a liqueur, our head barman offers a selection of grands crus, cocktails and alcohols that will surprise you.

An after-ski snack is offered at the bar every Friday and Saturday during french school holidays on winter.

Elevation is the bar that has it all; good food, sunny terrace, great ambience, après-ski, live music, DJs, and most importantly... a fantastic mix of people.

Located opposite the train station it is the regular haunt of many locals, mountain guides and seasonal workers to call in for a couple of drinks after work. It is also popular with holiday makers and Alpinists, who can prop their skis up outside and swap stories about their day on the mountain.

La Yaute is a friendly French-run bar at the foot of the Les Grands Montets ski slopes in Argentière.

A sunny terrace, live music and fun atmosphere make this a welcome addition to the Argentiere apres-ski scene. It is also open in summer, when lunch on the terrace is a pleasant way to spend the afternoon.
